Equestrian Team: (ages 5 - Teen) The highlight of our physical education program
is the Equestrian Team. Weekly lessons take place during or at the end of the school day at the Main Campus. Students train
on school horses and can choose western or hunt seat lessons (or both). Students begin with basic horsemanship
and basic equitation riding skills and the progress to more advanced work in the equestrian discipline of their choice. Intermediate
hunter riders will progress to hunter/jumper course work and may also begin basic dressage training. Students
can take one or two lessons per week during the lesson season.
Horse Club: A non-mounted horse club also operates from September through
May and meets once per month (date and time to be announced each month). The club is free and is open to children
and teens. The club focus on various aspects of the horse industry, different breeds of horses and their uses,
veterinarian care, and lots more. Each club meeting also covers several Bible scriptures on the horse.
